details:

Have you ever watched the patterns of moving leaves filtered through a tree canopy onto the floor below? Darkness and shade with specks of brightness between. Memories of happy times. I want to connect with that special time and place.

This artwork captures that moment using colour, pattern and image, with the play of light and dark of trees looking into a dappled clearing and the views of an enclosed space buzzing with plant and animal life. On the floor below the artwork, a number of coloured leaves lie in the porcelain tiling as if they have fallen from the trees and a flock of birds breaks through the trees and flies around the room appearing on another wall.
