To come together to make, talk and grow. 'Self Heal' - an ACNI funded project- The aim of this community project was to provide a space to develop and expand skills in ceramics and writing with local groups from all different ages and backgrounds. Desertcreatives and Newmills Gardening Club with members of the wider community came together with Diane McCormick and Maura Johnston to create this circular seating area, a space to reflect and unwind.

‘Healing Garden’- A series of interior and exterior artworks based on the theme of healing spaces in the acute mental health inpatient units at Omagh and Derry.

'The River of Light and Shade'- Commissioned by Holywell Trust, this artwork is based on shadows of different members of the communities which use the building. This design runs along the length of the floor from door to door and has a thin blue wave at its centre which represents the core of the city- the river Foyle. On either side of this are patterned figures- walking, running, jumping, talking. The shapes are taken from silhouettes of some of the members of the groups involved in the building and the patterns on these tiles were decided by community consultation.

'Weave' in Desertcreat Church Hall is a ceramic and glass artwork depicting the activities and history of the communities who use the church. A simple weave pattern represents the intertwining of community, a bond of people and place, reflecting that the area was once a linen growing centre.

The aim of the art commission is to provide an opportunity for artists, to develop a new work, influenced by the history of the rich industrial setting of Coalisland.

Atop the exterior balcony of the Children's ward in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, a vibrant installation captures the spirit of both the animal kingdom and the lush landscapes they inhabit. This imaginative artwork adorning the safety barriers of the balcony features an array of colourful animal silhouettes in laser cut Perspex, each piece playfully interacting with the space between the metal bars.
