A one off, high fired ceramic framed wall hanging with printed and impressed surfaces.  Little egrets are a relative newcomer to this part of the world. From the heron family, this bird can be identified by its all-over white plumage and beautiful yellow feet. They can be found along the coast and rivers, this image was inspired by a walk along the bird reserve at Lough Beg near Bellaghy. Glazed in blues and soft orange, this ceramic artwork has a soft silky glaze over layers of painted slip reflecting the northern Irish skies and sea.
